Travel Eye Masks

If you are a passenger in a brightly lit aeroplane or are suffering from jet lag in a hotel room, then the best way to relax and drift off to sleep is to remove the light stimulus to the eyes. Wearing a travel eye mask helps to block out this light, tricking the brain in to thinking it is nighttime, which leads to the production of melatonin, the sleep inducing hormone. If you are also in a particularly noisy environment, then pairing the travel eye masks with a good set of ear plugs with reap benefits to your sleep pattern.
