Multimat Summit 25/38 Self Inflating Mat Large

Multimat Summit 25/38 Self Inflating Mats are ideal for taking on polar expeditions or when mountaineering due to their compact size, low weight and extra insulation.

The upper layer of these Summit mats is manufactured from tough 40D lightweight rip-stop nylon that also has a non-slip water repellent coating to help prevent sleeping bag movement when resting. The base fabric is manufactured from lightweight 70D polyester with a non-slip waterproof coating in case you need to rest on ice or snow. Both of these fabrics also have a special antibacterial ether TPU membrane that enables an air-tight seal at lower temperatures whilst still retaining its elasticity.

Insulation in these Summit mats consists of 16kg/m3 of lightweight PU foam. Holes are drilled both vertically & horizontally in the foam around the feet and head area for a fuller and faster inflation, whilst the torso area comprises of solid foam for higher insulation. A super fast removable valve gives 3 times the airflow of a single regular valve, allowing fast inflation and deflation, whilst also enabling it to be serviced.

To keep weight and volume low, the shape of these Summit mats has a unique wedge profile - which should also be taken in to account when buying a sleeping bag to prevent overhang.

Please note: These Summit mats are supplied mid-folded & rolled, with a lightweight stuff sack that can double up as a luxury pillow case, a repair kit and a retaining band.
