Postal costs are additional to the displayed product price unless part of a promotion or special offer (please see below for further details). These prices will vary depending on the delivery service you select, the country of delivery and the quantity of goods ordered. Our system automatically calculates this price from the orders final shipping weight. You can check the cost of shipping an item by adding it to your shopping basket and clicking the 'Get A Quote' red box under the Estimate Shipping section.
Stock and Shortfalls
We carry a lot of stock in our warehouse and around 99.6% (March 2017) of orders received before 3.00pm are shipped the same day. In the event of a product selling out then our system will automatically update the website to make it unavailable to buy until re-stocked. Automated systems like this are not perfect so on very rare occasions a product sold may be just out of stock. However, we are constantly receiving deliveries from our suppliers and any delay will be minimal. If the delay is going to be longer than 3 days then we will contact you for further instructions.
Working Days and Bank Holidays
Royal Mail and UPS collect from our warehouse on Monday-Thursday at 4.15pm and on Friday at 11.30pm. We do not ship any parcels on Saturday or Sunday although we may process your order on these days ready for collection on Monday.
When there is a Public or Bank Holiday there is no collection by Royal Mail and UPS. We may process your order on these days ready for collection the next working day.
Free Delivery Offer
Free delivery offers only apply to UK orders that are over £25 in value. The delivery service used is at the discretion of Sub Zero Store but it will usually be the Royal Mail 48 hour service. If you require a different service then you will have to pick it during checkout and pay the delivery price.
We use two service providers for a UK delivery address, Royal Mail and UPS. Any orders received after 3pm are not guaranteed to be processed until the next working day.
We operate Royal Mails Click-And-Drop system that provides a unique tracking barcode for each 24/48 parcel sent. Currently, tracking information is only updated on Royal Mails website when it is delivered. 1) Royal Mail First Class®
Royal Mail First Class® provides a fast cost-effective service that aims to deliver the next working day. There is no signature required and no compensation.
2) Royal Mail Second Class
Royal Mail Second Class® provides a cost-effective service that aims to deliver within 2-3 working days. There is no signature required and no compensation.
3) Royal Mail First Class Signed For
Royal Mail First Class Signed For® aims to deliver the next working day, even on a Saturday. A signature will be required on delivery and there is compensation cover up to £50.
4) Royal Mail Second Class Signed For
Royal Mail Second Class Signed For® aims to deliver within 2-3 working days. A signature will be required on delivery and there is compensation cover up to £50.
5) Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm
Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm® is as the name implies a guaranteed delivery service to reach the customer the next working day by 1pm. This is limited to parcels under 2kg in weight and is only available in the working week. The service can be tracked on Royal Mails website and has compensation cover up to £500. A signature is required on delivery.

6) UPS Standard
This is a next day guaranteed service and is most cost effective on orders over 2kg to a maximum of 20kg. The service can be tracked online. A signature will be required on delivery.
European and Worldwide Delivery
We use two service providers for a European and Worldwide delivery address, Royal Mail and UPS:
1) Royal Mail International Tracked & Signed
Royal Mail International Tracked & Signed aims to deliver within 3-5 working days to Europe, and 5-7 working days to the rest of the world. A signature will be required on delivery and there is compensation cover up to £50.The parcels can be tracked on Royal Mails website
2) UPS Standard
This is a three-five guaranteed service and is most cost effective on orders over 2kg to a maximum of 20kg. The service can be tracked online. A signature will be required on delivery.
We use Royal Mail and UPS for delivering our orders as they offer a very reliable service, but sometimes parcels do get misplaced or disrupted in transit. The delivery time for your order starts when you receive an email confirmation from ourselves that your order has been shipped. If your parcel is taking longer to arrive than the specified delivery time then please get back in contact with us and we will try locate it for you.
Royal mail only view a 24®, 48®, 24 Signed For® and 48 Signed For® delivery service as lost after 15 working days. Royal Mails Guaranteed Next Day by 1pm® is classed as being lost after 10 working days excluding Public and Bank Holidays.
Royal Mail International Tracked & Signed® delivery service are only classed as being lost 20 working days after the due delivery date.
Non-Listed Postal Service/Specials

Not At Home To Accept Delivery
If you are not at home and the parcel is too large to fit through your letterbox or the order requires a signature, then the postman/delivery driver will post a non-delivery note and you will be able to collect it from the local mail centre later on in the day.
You can add special instructions for the order including delivery notes, such as 'leave with neighbour at number x', during checkout. We will add these details to the outside of your parcel but it is down to the discretion of the postman/delivery driver if he adheres to them.
We endeavour to package your parcel so that it arrives in perfect condition. We also try and recycle as much packaging as we can so we reduce our carbon footprint and keep our packaging costs as low as possible. If the contents are a funny shape then the packaging may not look pretty but we try and make them as secure as possible.
If you order goods from our site for delivery outside the UK, they may be subject to import duties and taxes which will be levied when the order reaches the delivery address. You will be responsible for payment of any such import duties and taxes. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount. For further information please contact your local customs office before placing your order.
All non-EU addresses will have a completed CN22 Customs Declaration form attached to the parcel.
We are happy to send BFPO parcels.
