Mid layer thermal Factor 2 balaclava by Sub Zero are manufactured from the same fabric as Factor 2 thermal mid layers. The soft fleeced inner face will keep your head very warm (70% warmer than the Factor 1 equivalent) and the hydrophillic treatment will keep a warm dry layer next to your skin without causing irritation.
The Factor 2 fabric is about double the thickness of the Factor 1 but it is still thin enough to be used under a helmet or hard hat.
Ideal for Motorcycles and Mountaineering or part of your winter thermal base layer.
