Delivery

Postal costs are additional to the displayed product price unless part of a promotion or special offer (please see below for further details). These prices will vary depending on the delivery service you select, the country of delivery and the quantity of goods ordered. Our system automatically calculates this price from the orders final shipping weight. You can check the cost of shipping an item by adding it to your shopping basket.

We carry a lot of stock in our warehouse and around 97.8% (June 2009) of orders recieved before 4pm are shipped the same day. In the event of a product selling out then our system will automatically update the website to make it unavailable to buy until re-stocked. Automated systems like this are not perfect so on very rare occassions a product sold may be just out of stock. However, we are constantly recieving deliveries from our suppliers and any delay will be minimal. If the delay is going to be longer than 3 days then we will contact you for further instructions.

UK Delivery
We use 2 services for a UK delivery address, Royal Mail first class post for parcels weighing up to 2kg and BusinessPost for all parcels over 2kg. Royal Mail is usually a very good service and parcels can be recived the next working day in most areas (apart from weekends and bank holidays). BusinessPost is a courier service and will be delivered 2 working days after being shipped. This service requires a signature on delivery.

European & Worldwide Delivery
Orders up to 2kg in weight are sent by Royal Mail Airmail service. They quote a delivery time within 3 working days for parcels going to Europe and within 5 working days for parcels shipped Worldwide. Any orders over 2kg will be shipped by UPS Standard Service. We have given an estimated cost for this type of shipment during checkout but this may change once we have recieved a direct quote from UPS. We will contact you with the revised shipment cost and will require any shortfall to be paid before the shipment is sent.You have the option to cancel the order if you do not wish to pay any additional delivery costs.

Recorded Service
During checkout you will have the option to choose either standard or recorded delivery. Recorded will require a signature on delivery and offers extra compensation for loss or damage. The recorded service in the UK costs a flat fee of £1 and Europe/Worldwide £3.70. If the recorded service is not utilised then Sub Zero will not be held liable for any loss or damage. Please see our terms of trading for additional information.
 
Import Duty
If you order goods from our site for delivery outside the UK, they may be subject to import duties and taxes which will be levied when the order reaches the delivery address. You will be responsible for payment of any such import duties and taxes. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount. For further information please contact your local customs office before placing your order.

Free Delivery Offers
Free delivery offers only apply to UK Mainland orders and are not available for certain areas of the UK, including the highlands and the Channel Islands. Free delivery offers are sent using the standard delivery service for the weight of the order. Free delivery offers cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, promotion or discount code.
